English PFA chief points out pay deferral dilemma in stern transfer embargo warning

The English Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor has warned that clubs agreeing wage deferrals should be embargoed from signing new players.Taylor pointed out that a relaxation of the rules could lead to the bizarre situation where clubs are due wages to their playing staff but spending money on transfer fees.
