Elton John has praised Russell T Davies’ Channel 4 drama It’s A Sin for providing “an incredibly moving account” of the AIDS crisis in the 1980s.The drama, which stars Years & Years singer Olly Alexander, follows the lives of four friends living together as the HIV/AIDS crisis begins to emerge in the UK.Praising the series on Instagram, Elton wrote: “It’s A Sin is an incredibly moving account of the arrival of AIDS in the U.K.
in the 1980’s.“Watching it, so many sad and devastating memories came flooding back. Many people were callous, ignorant and cruel.
