It’s a big week for EastEnders fans. Not only are the Albert Square residents preparing to say goodbye to tragic Chantelle, but Whitney’s court hearing also commences.The two events take place on the same day, leaving a guilty Gray with a conundrum.

Knowing he can’t face being at the funeral, he goes ahead with his plans to represent terrified Whitney on the stand. However, she tells him he has to put his family first and attend the funeral.

As he struggles to hold himself together, Whitney faces her first day in court alone, with Sonia there for support and Mick ready to testify in her defence.

But nothing can prepare her for what comes next so actress Shona McGarty fills us in. It’s the week of Whitney’s hearing in court.
