Dreamville’s LA studio is currently shut down due to California’s statewide “stay-at-home” order in response to the coronavirus pandemic, but the label’s roster has plenty of material stashed away.
Last night, Dreamville President Ibrahim Hamad shared a note on Instagram revealing a list of artists who have been keeping busy in the studio, including JID, Ari Lennox, Bas, and Spillage Village. “Quarantine SZN.
They taking the studio away but The show must go on,” Hamad wrote in the caption. “These notes gon be the office during this 24 hour lock down going into effect in LA.
Stay safe everybody.” Additional artists shown in the note include Cozz, Lute, Omen, and The Hics. Dreamville boss J. Cole’s name is nowhere to be found.
