Devastated friends pay heartfelt tributes to 'beautiful' young Scots couple found dead in Milngavie flat
dailyrecord.co.ukfound dead in a Milngavie home on Sunday morning.A 26-year-old man and 20-year-old woman found within a flat on Station Road have been named locally as Gerry Mooney and Bethany McManus.Police are probing the sudden deaths and are currently treating them as "unexplained".Locals said they were shocked to hear of their passing and described Gerry as a quiet neighbour.One woman who lives on the street said she was walking home when she noticed four paramedics rushing into the flat block.Residents in the area described an increased police presence as they saw four police cars and an ambulance outside of the property yesterday.Heartbroken pals described former Kirkintilloch High School pupil Bethany as a "lovely" friend who would be deeply missed.
