A knifeman made off with a quantity of money after threatening a staff member at the shop inside Hebers Post Office at around 12.20pm on Tuesday.

No-one was injured, although police say the staff member was left 'understandably shaken'. The robber is described as wearing a mask with a blue coat and hat.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. Det Sgt Andrew Dixon said: "This was a terrifying incident for all involved, and has left the staff member feeling understandably frightened. "This incident happened in broad daylight and I am hopeful that there are a number of
