Pat Fenlon was opposition gaffer that day and McInnes has faced six different Hibs counterparts in his time at the Pittodrie helm.
Edinburgh rivals Hearts aren’t far behind as they have had five different bosses in that time.McInnes – second longest-serving manager in the Scottish senior game behind Peterhead’s Jim McInally – said: “It is unusual in football now to be in the same job for seven years.“It’s not easy being a manager and you are always striving for better.”A
