The highly-rated right-back played just twice after joining from Staebek on a four-and-a-half year deal.He hadn’t played in two months before joining the Pittodrie club and when he finally reached full match fitness, football was shut down by the coronavirus pandemic.

It meant the 22-year-old played just 76 minutes in an Aberdeen shirt since joining in January in games against St Johnstone and Hibs and he's desperate to make up for lost time when the season returns.

The 15-time capped Venezuela international is back in training though and McInnes expects him to be a big success next season.
