Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Rangers youngster Dapo Mebude. The 19-year-old Ibrox youngster spoke out on social media last night to reveal his dismay at sickening taunts from 'Rangers' fans online.Police are now investigating the horrendous slurs after the teenager was targeted while playing FIFA.He wrote on Twitter: "Some “Rangers” fans being racist towards my family over a game of FIFA." A disgusted Gerrard will now check in face-to-face with rising star Mebude.

The Light Blues boss said: "We as a club have got structures in place to make sure all of our players get the right care, protection and welfare in these situations."We condemn it as a football club.
