Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Alfredo Morelos. Rangers boss Steven Gerrard landed in the dock after suggesting a challenge that left the striker on a stretcher would've been handled differently by the official if roles were reversed.

Gerrard was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing while no further action was taken against Dundee United's Ryan Edwards. Clancy won't be the man in the middle when Rangers take on Aberdeen on Sunday but has been installed as fourth official.

At the time, Gerrard said of the Morelos incident: "I only got a good view of it after the game. There's obviously a follow through there, I don't want to stand here and say a kid should be sent off, of course I don't."What would be interesting is if it was the other way around what the decision would.
