Danielle Fogarty discusses son's birth and admits she struggles to look at C-section scar
ok.co.ukDanielle Fogarty has shared how she sometimes “struggles to look” at her C-Section scar, after giving birth to son Maddox.The influencer, 31, welcomed her second child with husband Ross Worswick earlier this month.
However things didn’t quite go the way the couple planned, after Danielle had to have an emergency Caesarean, which she said wasn’t “the outcome she wanted”.
Opening up about her son’s birth on Instagram, the star shared how her scar is healing but still feels sore and how she was “scared” to look at it initially after the operation.Taking to her Instagram story on Monday, 24 July, she replied to one fan who asked how she felt about having a C-section, saying: “I didn't really have any time to think about it, it was all very chaotic and before I knew it I woke up and he was there. "Obviously it's not the outcome I wanted as me and Ross both missed Maddox being born as I had to be put to sleep, but he was safe and that's the main thing." She then added of her C-section scar: "I didn't look at my scar for days after as I was so scared of what it would look like, I feel mine is a lot longer than normal but maybe because it was an emergency but every week it's looking a little better but still a little sore. "There's so many amazing things now to help with scars, once I start using things I will recommend if I feel they've helped." Later in the Q&A, she spoke about being put to sleep for Maddox's birth because his heart rate was dropping too low.
