dailyrecord.co.ukWest Lothian Cycle Circuit has hit its £30,000 fundraising target ahead of time.The #Letsbuildit fundraising campaign took place over a four week period to raise money for the installation of floodlights at the planned cycle circuit.
Each floodlight costs £1185 and the circuit requires 27 lights around the perimeter.The £30,000 crowd funding project offered rewards in return for donations and all backers will get a confirmation email with details in the coming days.
The rewards ranged from fridge magnets to an aluminium road bike, dependent on the amount of the donation.Any extra funds raised will go straight towards completing Phase One, a 0.5km tarmac traffic-free circuit featuring two loops.Matthew Ball, lead volunteer, said: “We are
