The countdown is over for dog lovers as Crufts 2020 is almost upon us. Thousands of people will make their way to the West Midlands this weekend for the annual event in celebration of the world's most perfect pooches.
The Kennel Club have been organising the extravaganza for more than 100 years, having launched in 1891, and nowadays an astounding 26,000 dogs attend in the hope of being crowned cream of the crop.
With 222 breeds taking part, from bearded collies to fox hounds, it's no wonder the event, held at the National Exhibition Centre , is one of the most anticipated of the year.
