Cristiano Ronaldo has no plans to retire from international football, insisting: "It's not my time yet." Ronaldo will turn 37 in February amid rumours surrounding his plans to continue with Portugal before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Footballers have been known to retire from international football in an attempt to prolong their careers with their domestic clubs.
Most recently, Kylian Mbappe confirmed that he has considered retirement from France - aged just 22. However, Ronaldo - the all-time top scorer in men's international football with 115 goals, overtaking Ali Daei's long-standing record - has not even considered the option.
