Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Roy Keane has praised Manchester United's response after a dismal run of form, labelling their win over Tottenham Hotspur as "perfect".
Cristiano Ronaldo was the standout performer as United cruised to a 3-0 win over Nuno Espirito Santo's side. He scored with a stunning volley and set up Edinson Cavani for the second goal.
The pressure built for the Spurs boss as his side were booed off at half-time and full-time and saw thousands of fans leave as Marcus Rashford added United's third.
Keane heavily criticised a number of players following the 5-0 defeat to Liverpool including Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw, but Saturday saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side keep a first Premier League clean sheet in over two months.
