Creative Hamilton schoolgirl is back baking during second lockdown

link.Carly’s mum, Caroline, explained: “Through lockdown she researched it all herself watching YouTube videos and had her own ideas.“What’s amazing is I don’t bake at all, so she didn’t have anybody in the house to help her, although I helped with putting it in and out the oven.”After Carly and the family missed out on a trip to Disneyland Paris, she decided that she would cheer up her brother, Luke, by baking him a cake for his 13th birthday.

That was Carly’s first creation but she vowed not to stop there and has since created special cakes for all of her family.The 12-year-old Hamilton Grammar School pupil made a Rangers FC themed cake for her dad, a chocolate one for herself, a pink sweet treats one for her mum, and a Minions cake for.
