Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Scott Brown could have picked up a second red card in two appearances in the win over Kilmarnock.The midfielder set Lennon's side on their way to a 4-0 victory at Rugby Park but was involved in a brief clash with Aaron Tshibola in the first-half.Brown was shown a straight red just minutes after entering the fray during his last outing against Livingston after swinging an arm at Jaze Kabia.But Lennon is adamant his skipper was rightly in the clear this time.His comments came just moments before league leaders Rangers hammered their call for "consistency" in disciplinary decisions with a cryptic Tweet after Alfredo Morelos was served a three-game ban for stamping on Ryan Porteous.Asked on Sky Sports if Brown could've been in bother, Lennon.
