Covid-19 vaccination letters roll out to Lanarkshire's over-70s

Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.People across Lanarkshire aged between 70 and 79 and those who are clinically extremely vulnerable will start to receive their Covid-19 vaccination appointments from yesterday.Dr Mark Russell, Associate Medical Director Health and Social Care North Lanarkshire, who is leading on the delivery of the Covid-19 vaccine in Lanarkshire, said: “These appointments mark the start of our large community vaccination centres, which begin on 1 February.“It will take time for us to work our way through each priority group, so we are asking for patience and that you wait to be contacted.”Appointments are being allocated throughout February at a vaccination centre.
