A couple stabbed to death in Lancashire have been named by police. Tricia Livesey, 57 and Anthony Tipping, 60, were found dead at their home in Higher Walton, near Preston, on Saturday afternoon.

Post-mortem examinations have shown that both died as a result of multiple stab wounds, LancsLive reports. A 35-year-old local man arrested on suspicion of murder has been detained under the Mental Health Act.
