A further seven people have died of coronavirus in Scotland - but latest figures for Ayrshire remain encouraging in the battle against the disease.The Scottish Government today confirmed the nationwide death toll has risen to 2,422 following two consecutive days of no new reported deaths.In Ayrshire, confirmed cases of COVID-19 now stand at 1,081 which is an increase of one in the last 24 hours.There are 11 people fighting the virus in hospitals in the NHS Ayrshire and Arran health board region.Fewer than five patients are in intensive care.A total of 128, 495 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date with 15,653 returning positive results.The symptoms of coronavirus are:But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have.
