No new coronavirus deaths in Scotland with 15 new cases confirmed

The number of people being treated for confirmed or suspected cases of the virus in hospital stands at 823 with 17 patients in intensive care.

Yesterday was the first weekday since March that Scotland has recorded no new coronavirus deaths.Earlier this week, big announcements were made over relaxing restrictions across the country.Beer gardens and outdoor areas of restaurants will open by July 6- bringing a boost to summer spirits.The five-mile visiting restriction looks set to be lifted on July 3.From July 13, outdoor contact sports for children will be allowed and non-essential.
