172 people have now died from coronavirus in Scotland – after an increase of 46 deaths overnight. The number of confirmed cases has risen to 3,001 – up 399 from Thursday.A total of 176 Scots are in intensive care receiving treatment, it has been confirmed.Of the 3,001 confirmed positive cases, 1,321 people are in hospital.
During a press conference this afternoon, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced the latest figures. Scotland is still on lockdown and Scots are being reminded to follow the new regulations.Everyone has been advised not to leave their homes unless shopping for essentials, taking exercise once a day, caring for a vulnerable person, traveling to essential work which cannot be done from home or for a medical reason.Lockdo
