Coronavirus Ayrshire: Seven more deaths as hospital numbers rocket to new record high

Ayrshire have hit another new grim record high. A total of 204 patients are battling COVID-19 in NHS Ayrshire & Arran hospitals - three more than yesterday.The news emerges as seven more Ayrshire patients died overnight after testing positive for the virus.Ten people are in ICU, according to Public Health Scotland data.And 171 more people have tested positive for coronavirus bringing the region's total to 10,746.Across Scotland 93 more people have died overnight with Scotland's death toll now at 4,872.The country also recorded 2,309 new cases, which represents 8.1 per cent of tests.The symptoms of coronavirus are:But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness.The symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more.
