It’s unlikely that we’ll see some of our favourite Coronation street stars on our screens for a while as the Coronavirus pandemic continues to affect countries around the world.
ITV bosses have revealed that they are currently in the process of ‘writing out’ any actor over the age of 70 from the soap to ensure their safety.
The new policy will allow the cast to adhere to the planned safety rules laid out by the British Government which could see the elderly forced to stay indoors for up to four months.
