Live sport will return behind closed doors in England from Monday. The government has issued health and safety guidelines which will pave the way for elite sport to return next week.
One way systems, minimising the use of dressing rooms and maintaining social distancing will all play a part in the new guidelines.
Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden also announced that Live Premier League football will be on the BBC for the first time in its history during today’s coronavirus press conference.
The rules form stage three of the process of bringing sport back from the coronavirus lockdown. Stage two, which allowed for close-contact training for elite athletes, was published last Monday.
