Colourboxx Festival at Glasgow's Bellahouston Park cancelled

Colourboxx festival has been cancelled this summer in Bellahouston Park. Organisers DF Concerts have announced the day long festival with Becky Hill, Joesef, Berry Galazka, Bimini, HYYTS, Lawrence Chaney, and The Sugababes will no longer happen.

In a statement to fans they wrote: "This event has been cancelled. Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shown Colourboxx so far.We really hoped we would be coming to you with better news but, here’s hoping we will meet again to celebrate all things love, joy and unity with you."Love, Colourboxx x."No reason was given for the cancellation and The Daily Record has reached out to DF Concerts for comment.The event was described a "vibrant wonderland where inclusivity and freedom of expression reign supreme", featuring drag acts across the UK and some of the country's most popular musicians.Fans were unhappy at the news that it is not longer taking place.One said: "Does anybody know the actual reason Colourboxx in #Glasgow was cancelled?
