CLIMATE change protesters caused a stir ahead of the ceremony as they stormed the red carpet and called for an end to using oil.
Bafta organisers put a pen around them as the stars made their way into the Royal Albert Hall. They wore bright orange T-shirts and chanted: “Just look up, just stop oil” in a nod to the film Don’t Look Up – which had four nominations.
Florence Pugh and Steven Graham were filmed walking around the barricades to greet fans. Outside the protestors blocked the road and stopped the stars making their way in by cars and set off green flares.
Police stood around them and attempted to move them on as they chanted: “Just stop oil.” .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-1czxmma{background-color:rgba(252,239,255,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
