The call wasn’t a surprise. After all, since their breakup, drummer Sean Dowdell had remained friends and business partners with Chester Bennington, with whom he had founded Grey Daze in 1993.Since the Phoenix-area favourites broke up in the late ’90s, Dowdell and Bennington had stayed in contact and opened Club Tattoo, a tattoo and piercing parlour with locations in Las Vegas and Arizona.But in late 2016, Bennington was ringing up his long-time pal to ask how he felt about resurrecting the band of their youth.“It was one of our normal phone calls and we started talking about throwing a Club Tattoo anniversary party.
