Charlie Nicholas has opened up about losing his dad to cancer as part of a new campaign aimed at honouring fathers and funding research into prostate cancer.Former striker Charlie said Father’s Day is always a special time for him to remember his dad and even though he has two daughters of his own, he still thinks of it as “Chic’s weekend”.On Sunday the Prostate Cancer UK Man of Men logo will showcase personal, poignant and powerful messages in Argyle Street, Glasgow, among other sites.The virtual Dedication to Dad wall allows families to pay tribute to their dads as well as leaving a donation to help fund lifesaving research and to “give men more Father’s Days”.Nicholas, 58, was among the first to leave a message to his dad Charlie “Chic”.
