Many viewers took to social media to react to James' poor knowledge of ice cream, reports Birmingham Mail. One person typed: "The history of ice cream has to be the best specialist subject ever on Mastermind.

" A fifth said: "Shout out to the researcher that spent several days researching the history of ice cream only for James Acaster to show up having done NO research #Mastermind. " James scored only four points for his topic, but improved during the general knowledge round.
