CBS Brings In Advisory Group To Help Address Police Reform on 'NCIS', 'Blue Bloods' & More

The NCIS franchise and Blue Bloods are the latest television series that will tackle police brutality and reform in their upcoming seasons, CBS has announced.

The network revealed that they are working with law enforcement and public safety advisory group 21CP Solutions in order to alter the way police are depicted on its crime shows.

The 21CP advisers, according to TV Line, will be comprised of former senior law enforcement officials, civil rights scholars, lawyers, academics, and community thought leaders in police reform and public safety.

NCIS: Los Angeles showrunner R. Scott Gemmill commented on the partnership, saying, “Having an audience of millions of viewers each week comes with a great deal of responsibility.
