Greater Manchester Police said the BMW X5 crashed after "making off" from one of their units.A post on the GMP Traffic Twitter feed said: "The driver of this BMW X5 had a lucky escape after making off from ME18 in Moston."He only sustained minor injuries after losing control."Enquiries are still ongoing."They shared a picture of the badly mangled car resting on its roof.Residents in the area said the car had struck a wall on Church Lane before overturning near the dental practice.Police taped the road off and firefighters were also pictured at the scene helping deal with the aftermath.Eyewitnesses said they appeared to be cutting someone from the wreckage.
