Budget windfall of £250K for Rannoch Community Hub

Rannoch Community Trust was delighted to announce that the Rannoch Community Hub in Highland Perthshire has been awarded £250,000 from the UK Budget as one of a handful of projects in Scotland targeted by the HM Treasury.

The refurbishment windfall for the building that was once the old school house and had previously been used as an outdoor centre came from Wednesday’s Budget and spending review announced by the Chancellor.

As part of the UK Government’s commitment to invest in people, jobs, communities and businesses, Rannoch Community Trust will receive the funding to assist efforts to establish a community hub alongside a commercial café/bar providing free business and leisure facilities..
