The Associated Press reports that 38-year-old Buttigieg is suspending his campaign after Saturday’s South Carolina primary, where he finished a distant fourth behind former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen.
Bernie Sanders, and businessman Tom Steyer. (Steyer ended his own bid for the presidency yesterday.) According to his campaign Twitter account, Buttigieg will speak to supporters in South Bend later this evening.
