A teenage boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed in north Manchester. The incident happened on Grangewood Drive in Harpurhey at around 6.10pm last night (Tuesday).

Police said they were scrambled to the scene after a report of a stabbing. The teenager was taken to hospital. Police have not confirmed whether anyone was arrested after the stabbing. READ MORE: Man charged after alleged Piccadilly Gardens stabbing Officers said the boy has since been discharged.

Enquiries are ongoing. Last night, several police cars were pictured stationed on Grangewood Drive, which is a small cul-de-sac near to Queens Park.

Multiple officers were pictured on the street. Anyone who witnessed the incident is being urged to contact Greater Manchester Police.
