Bolton Wanderers respond to prospect of playing games behind closed doors

Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the club's stance on playing games behind closed doors and accepted it would comply with the possible move in light of the COVID-19 outbreak - despite accepting it would not be an ideal situation.

With football postponed until further notice, EFL chairman Rick Parry has confirmed that when matches do return, they are 'likely' to be played without crowds.

It is unclear when supporters will be able to attend matches once again. Plans are being formulated to ensure fans can watch matches from the comfort of their own homes via broadcast partners, iFollow or equivalent club streaming services.
