Bollywood star Rishi Kapoor dies aged 67

Bollywood star Rishi Kapoor has died of leukaemia at the age of 67. He was admitted to hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday and sadly died the next day, his family has said.

Mr Kapoor had previously been treated for his condition in the United States for almost a year. The leading actor has starred in over 90 films including box office hits Khel Khel Mein, Karz and Chandni.

The Kapoor family are known for dominating the Hindi film industry, and Mr Kapoor's son Ranbir Kapoor is one of Bollywood's biggest star's today.

Mr Kapoor's wife, Neetu Singh, who he married in 1980 after they met on-screen, has starred alongside him in several of his films.
