Police in Edinburgh say they believe the body found in a quarry to be that of missing man Lukasz Machalski. The body of a man was discovered in the water at a quarry near West Granton Road around 11am today, January 4.Officers say formal identification is still to take place, however they believe it to be Lukasz Machalski.His family have been informed of the body recovery.Lukasz had been missing from his home in Restalrig since Sunday, December 13, 2020, before the grim discovery was made just weeks later.Police say enquiries are ongoing and a full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal..
