A body of a man has been found in Glenrothes in the search for Ross McLean who went missing five days ago. Local police say the discovery was made at around 4.45pm on Friday August 19.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of Mr McLean has been informed.The 34-year-old was last seen on Sunday August 14 afternoon leaving a property at Balgonie Place in Glenrothes and has not been heard from since.Following his disappearance, officers appealed for information saying there were "growing concerns" for his welfare.Keen musician Ross had only just released an EP on August 5 under the alias Ecstasy Killed the Casuals.Enquiries are now ongoing to establish the full circumstance of the body that has been found.Fife Police Division said: "At around 4.45pm on Friday, 19 August, 2022 the body of a man was found near to Glenrothes.
