On Wednesday (February 9), the late actor’s family shared new details about his passing, revealing that authorities have concluded what caused his sudden death at the age of 65 back on January 9. News. “Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities’ investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us.” Bob was found dead in his hotel room back on January 9 in Orlando, Florida, just hours after he performed a show at a comedy club.
The family then revealed that authorities concluded that Bob “accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep.” They added that no drugs or alcohol were involved.
The statement concluded, “As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter.” In a recent interview, Bob‘s longtime friend and Full House co-star John Stamos reflected on the last time he saw Bob.
