BBC viewers divided over Glasgow-based drama The Control Room's 'unbelievable' plot

BBC viewers have been left disappointed after Glasgow-based drama series The Control Room failed to pack a punch. The three-part series aired on BBC One this week, but viewers were less than impressed by the new series.

The show follows an emergency call handler is forced to confront his past when he receives a call from a woman who has killed someone and appears to know him.

The show sees Gabe, played by Iain De Caestecker, have his world turned upside down when he receives a call from a hysterical woman who has killed a man.However, Gabe was left fearing the worst when the woman recognised his voice and finds himself in a situation that will jeopardise his career and his life as he knows it.The action packed miniseries has left viewers scratching their heads after failing to understand the 'unbelievable' plot, and even comparing it to Mr Bean.

Unhappy viewers took to Twitter to rant as the disappointing series aired it's conclusion.One wrote: "I had high hopes for the control room series on BBC but it’s slowly turning in to Mr Bean."Another ranted: "BBC Control Room .
