Channel 4’s new documentary Night Coppers follows a group of officers "who police Brighton’s hectic nightlife scene.” In the latest episode of the series, two Brighton cops had to reunite a mother and daughter and after the little girl had been found wandering alone outside in the rain by her neighbours.
The incident occurred toward the end of Tuesday night’s show and viewers immediately took to Twitter to express their shock at the events.
One said: “Poor mite scared to death #NightCoppers.” “What time of night is this child on the streets? #NightCoppers,” a second viewer questioned.
