BBC The Traitors viewers 'unable to sleep' over 'horrifying' scene before bombshell
ok.co.ukAs another nail biting instalment of The Traitors got underway on Friday night, viewers were hit by harrowing scenes as one of the missions to build up the cash prize pot took an unnerving turn.
As viewers will know, throughout the competition the contestants must take part in a series of missions in order to earn money for the prize fund, with the exercises being one way of finding out more about their competitors to help sniff out the Traitors hiding among them.
In the third episode of the series, the group took on a new challenge which involved them racing through the castle grounds to find scarecrows which had their fellow contestants' names on.
As well as finding the scarecrows, the contestants then needed to answer the question they were given and use the scarecrow which had the name tag of their answer on to unlock a special box with the next question in it.
