BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Adam Thomas laughs as he casts verdict on brother Ryan's Dancing on Ice debut

Adam Thomas couldn't help but laugh as he cast his verdict on older brother Ryan's Dancing on Ice debut. After his own stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year, Adam was in the live studio audience to support his sibling as he took to the ice for the first time.

Former Coronation Street star Ryan, 39, was among the first six stars to take to the ice for their first performance on Sunday night (January 14) before the following six famous faces and their skating partners perform the week after followed by the first skate-off and elimination of the 2024 series.

And as he headed onto the ice, Ryan pulled off a brilliant performance with his fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh, brothers Adam and Scott and mum Gail among those cheering him on from the live audience. just click here to give it a go. Ryan topped the leaderboard with the judges. His energetic performance, while dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, to Kings of Leon’s Sex On Fire with partner Amani Fancy was called “absolutely brilliant” by judge Oti Mabuse and awarded a total of 26.5 points.
