BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent begged bosses to stop a report after a technical blunder left her 'sick'. Sally, 51, was back on the BBC Breakfast sofa alongside Jon Kay on Mondays show and one of their first segments was about it being 100 years since the BBC's first radio programme.
Jon, 53, said: "Now, on this day, 100 years ago, the BBC broadcast its very first ever radio programme in 1922." Sally continued: "Yeah, exactly.
Back then it was known as the British Broadcasting Company and ran its first ever radio broadcast from 2 LO." As she was talking, a reel of faces were whizzed through on the screens around them for viewers to glimpse.
