evoke.ieBaz Ashmawy possibly speaks for a lot more parents than would care to admit when he shared that the new school term can’t kick in fast enough after a long summer with his two ‘wreck-the-heads’ at home.
The broadcaster was all jokes in a recent Instagram post where he spoke about how ‘jealous’ he was of other parents who have sent their kids back to school already.
While they have regained their freedom somewhat, he teased, he’s still home tending to demands for ‘pancake brunches’ and the like from his brood.
After an untraditional 18 months of school and home-schooling combined with the summer holidays, it’s no wonder parents can’t wait for some normality to resume.
