EXCLUSIVE: The co-director of controversial Polish movie 365 Days, Barbara Bialowas, has been attached to direct an adaptation of the first novel in Vanessa Fewings’ romance series The Enthrall Sessions.365 Days was a major talking point after its Netflix release this summer, sitting in the streamer’s top 10 chart after its release in numerous international territories.

Prior to its streaming bow it had also been a box office hit in Poland, grossing $9M.The controversy emerged from its subject matter.

Billed as an erotic drama, the story follows a young Polish woman imprisoned by a Sicilian gangster who gives her one year to fall in love with him.

Owl found inside Rockefeller Christmas tree after 3 days without food

This year’s Rockefeller Christmas tree brought a tiny holiday surprise to New York City. Earlier this week, workers who were setting up the tree found a small owl among the branches of the 75-foot-tall Norway Spruce. They called the Ravensbeard Wildlife Center in Saugerties, N.Y., for help. The wildlife center posted on Facebook about the Saw-whet owl -- which they named “Rockefeller” -- on Tuesday. Ravensbeard officials estimated the owl hadn’t eaten for three days as the Rockefeller traveled from Oneonta, N.Y., this week. It was only when workers were unwrapping the massive spruce that they saw the owl in the branches, the New York Post reported.
