The 26-year-old has been given permission to speak to Celtic and has travelled to London tonight for his medical. Celtic have already agreed personal terms and the US international has agreed a five year contract with the Hoops.
The Scottish champions will complete the medical tests this evening and then begin the process of applying for a visa for the central defender on Friday.Celtic will start the process first thing in the morning and will hope that they can get it fast-tracked and green lit by 11pm tomorrow evening.
Brendan Rodgers wants to pair Trusty up with fellow American defender Cameron Carter-Vickers. Celtic have also lined up a club record £11million move for Augsburg midfielder Arne Engels.
