Auchinleck Talbot are asking fans to stay away from their first match in almost eight months this weekend.The Ayrshire giants will travel through to Kirkconnel on Saturday to play Kello Rovers in a pre-season friendly.A limited crowd of 250 is allowed under current coronavirus restrictions.But Talbot say they have concerns of a 'safety and practical nature' with no ticket or booking system in place for the match at Nithside Park.They say they have been 'overwhelmed' by fans wishing to attend the match and are now encouraging supporters to stay at home and watch a live stream of the action instead.Talbot withdrew from the inaugural West of Scotland League last season due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.A statement posted on the club's.
