James Brown documentary produced by Mick Jagger and Questlove in on the way.A&E Network announced the four-part documentary yesterday (February 26) and said it’s expected to arrive in 2023.James Brown: Say It Loud will be directed by Deborah Riley Draper and will be executive produced by Mick Jagger, Questlove and Black Thought, among others.In a statement, Jagger said he was “thrilled” to executive produce the project, saying: “He was a brilliant performer who inspired me from the beginning and was deeply committed to the Civil Rights movement. I have always admired James and learned so much from him.”Questlove and Black Thought added: “The life of James Brown is significant not only to understand his immense musical impact, which inspires us and other artists to this day, but also for the deep and lasting impression he has had on American culture.“Brown’s life is a crucial and timely story of struggle, redemption, and self-identity and we are honoured to have the chance to share it.”In 2014, the late Chadwick Boseman starred as James Brown for the biopic Get On Up, which Jagger also produced.

Apex Legends arena is Mad Maggie, and developer Respawn has shared her abilities.Mad Maggie will join Apex Legends in the twelfth season, known as “Defiance”, which releases on February 8.Mad Maggie’s passive ability is called Warlord’s Ire, and will temporarily highlight enemies that players have damaged and allow them to move faster with a shotgun.This ability will allow players to close the gap and get in close with short-range weapons, and anyone hit by grenades, bullets, or her other abilities will have a hard time hiding.Her tactical ability is named Riot Drill, which will allow players to fire a drill that burns enemies, even through obstacles.The Riot Drill should provide some exciting area denial by temporarily preventing players from using certain cover pieces. It will also provide information thanks to the Warlord’s Ire passive.Finally, Mad Maggie’s ultimate ability is Wrecking Ball.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has been a huge hit for Nintendo, with the new game enjoying an even bigger UK launch than its predecessors, remake duo Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.As noted by games industry business site GI.biz, Pokémon Legends: Arceus accounts for almost half of all boxed game sales in the UK last week, and beat out another new entry, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.Nintendo Switch games dominated the charts as a whole, with Mario Kart 8: Deluxe the second best-selling game of the week, despite launching in April 2017, while Animal Crossing: New Horizons in at number four, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at six, and the Switch version of Minecraft at seven. However, it’s also worth noting that these charts only reflect physical game sales, not digital purchases.Part of the appeal of the latest Pokémon game may be that it is a major departure for the series.

As the highest-grossing media franchise in the world — taking in more than $100 billion since 1996 — the series owned by Nintendo and Game Freak is set to begin a whole new era with the release of its newest video game.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is released at the end of the month and according to early impressions, the game is “completely different from previous titles”.According to Famitsu, who played Arceus at a hands-on event in Japan, “It’s safe to say that this game is completely different from previous titles. The first thing that impressed me when I started playing was the exhilarating feeling of moving around freely in the vast field,” they said in comments translated by VCG.The same report discusses a boss battle against brand new Pokémon, Kleavor, which saw the player attempting to hit the creature with food to calm it down.
